Hello Patrick Marshall,
If you want to Perform Amazon Kindle Update to the latest firmware then you can Download Kindle and update from the below given link.
call 1-800-252-6123 or email them at www.rcatabletsupport.com they can email you a hard reset, it will erase all apps, saved data etc.. and bring you right back to welcome as it came out fo the box
The link below has an optimized rooted version of the firmware for a Newsmy T7. It took a long time for me to find it but it is golden! It saved my tablet. FYI the process to update the firmware is pretty complicated. Good luck! http://www.fazzi.eng.br/2012/04/tablet-newsmy-newpad-t7-android-isc-403.html
You need to download the driver and/or firmware. Since it did not come with a CD to install it, you can download the proper one from this link: http://aluratek.com/cms/legacy/support-library.php. On the right-hand side is the firmware drop-down menu, be sure to choose the correct option that matches your device, and it will download to your computer for installation.
Betty,
Archos has been saying Flash would be officially available for some time now, but it's still not out. There is a beta version that I'm using, works great for me:
First step to getting Flash working is to go to your settings menu, then Applications, then check the box to allow for Unknown Sources to be installed.
To get a Beta version of Flash working use this link (from your Archos tablet):

You should be prompted to install this APK file on your Archos 101 after it's downloaded, this will give you a decent version of Flash (it's taken from a Droid X which has similar hardware to the Archos 101).
The Version number of your Archos 101 firmware is different from the Android Operating System. Version 2.1.8 is the latest Archos firmware as of Feb 28, 2011, this is Android 2.2.1.
To force an update, you actually need to connect the Archos 101 to the internet, not to a PC. Once you're connected to a Wifi network and have access to the internet, go to your Settings, then scroll to the bottom to About Device. On this screen is a Firmware Update option, this will check for and download the latest. Once it's downloaded you'll be prompted to plug your tablet into the charger and restart it to apply the firmware.
As posted to another person, download this .apk file and install it on your A70 (It must be running 2.2 froyo firmware to work, if running 2.1 you need different .apk). It'll give you Google Market, where you can download Adobe Flash Player that updates itself... i've had 2 updates from flash since Dec 25th upon getting this.
Link: With Archos 70 Internet Tablet, you need to download a specific version of Adobe Flash Player from Google Market since it runs Android OS. And A70 doesn't come with GMarket, rather Appslib, which doesn't quite cut it.
Luckily someone has made a neat little .apk file thath as Google Market, which lets you download GMarket and download/install all its apps/games/etc on your A70.
Just download the following .apk file and install it on your A70, afterwards download Adobe Flash Player from Google Market. However, this hack ONLY works on 2.2 froyo android OS, so make sure your A70 firmware is up to date.
I'd also recommend installing Dolphin Browser HD as it seems to provide a more refined flash browsing experience coupled with the Adobe Flash Player.
Sounds like the firmware has gone from the sat box
take it to a satellite repairer or if you feel competent enough you can use a null modem cable to download the version from your box and then you can then download the firmware from the internet and then install firmware onto box! this happens alot with topfield sat boxes but some wont accept the firmware its a 50/50 chance but give it a shot you cant get any worse!
hope this helps,ben
