Question about Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook
I recently got a bluescreen on a dell inspiron 6400. After rebooting, the touchpad no longer worked. The touchpad no longer shows up under the hardware tab in the mouse settings. I tried reinstalling the driver, and doing a system restore. I've also tried the fn+f7, still no luck. Unless Im doing it at the wrong time. Any ideas? Im not sure how much a new touchpad would cost(in GB), or where to get one.
Hello, my best solution would be to check ebay and order one there. If you are familiar with removing the power button bezel, do so and remove the keyboard as well. Then check the connection for the mouse. Its a small little ribbon cable coming from the mouse area.
