Question about Garden
I have a Mccoulough 3516 Chainsaw. I tried to fire it up after a good while of not using it and the primer bulb cracked and gas spilled out. I removed the primer assmbly and underneath found 2 hoses. One was cracked off and the other cracked as soon as I tried to remove it from the primer assembly. I am a persistent individual and after removing 12 screws I got to the point where I had a clear look at the carburetor assembly and there are 2 places where fuel lines attach. I need to know which goes where. I stopped short of removing the flywheel/starter thingy so I am not sure of how the hose hooks to the fuel tank, although I see a filter on the parts list so I assume the filter goes inside the tank. I downloaded an illustrated parts list and where this is helpful, it does not show how these are routed. In addition, on the opposite side of the engine there is another hose connection close to the chain oil reservoir. Is this a hose connection for the chain oil system? I usually can figure stuff like this out, but when all the hoses are cracked and in pieces, I am at a loss. Any help would be appreciated

What you need is a routing diagram for the hoses and probably a new bulb primer as well. You can get one here:
