Question about Samsung Galaxy Y

Open Question

PORTRAIT is the same as LANDSCAPE

I want to change my wallpaper but there's a problem. When you click the Set Wallpaper, you'll see two options: Portrait Style and Landscape Style. So my problem is whenever I set my wallpaper and click the Portrait Style, my cp shows the Landscape Style. Now the Portrait Style is the same as the Landscape Style. I don't know what happened and I don't know what to do. I hope someone will give a solution.

SOURCE: Printing Landscape w/Gardenware software

hmmm..disk scan? that's a little weird. the reason that a default setting for a printer occurs in propietary software, like Gardenware, is due to that applications settings. You will most likely find a print settings options in the control manager for Gardenware, where you can either set the type of printing(landscape..that's really apropos, eh?) or you can install a selected printer driver. Then you're print manager will make those decisions.

got backup?

Try going to Settings - Display and making sure you have Auto rotate enabled.... also settings - Accessibility might have the option as well, then turn tablet off completely for 1 minute then power on!

My window has been inverted, how can i make it correct?

i don't know what operating system you are using so this will be a general answer. go to control panel, click on "display", click on "change display settings", open the orientation tab and click on "landscape" and click apply. other options would be portrait, portrait flipped, and landscape flipped. luck.

Print result sideways

It sounds like your printer is set to print landscape, instead of portrait mode. Next time you want to print, click on file(top left of screen), then print (don't just click on the little printer icon). This will open a new printer window where you can choose different setting. The option to change from landscape to portrait will be listed somewhere in that window. Once you have selected that feature and print it will stay that way unless you change it. You will have to check this setting in each computer program you use.

Canon ir3045n - when printing the paper orientation has switched to landscape. How do we change it back to portrait?

Hello Donna,

To change the orientation of the printer from landscape to portrait follow these simple steps;

- open any document and go to print from the file menu
- when the printers settings window opens click 'properties'
- In the next up coming windows you can see menus like 'main, page setup, effects' profiles
maintenance etc.
- click 'page setup'
- There you can see 'page size' and 'orientation'
- change the 'orientation' from landscape to portrait
- click ok and print
Done : )

please rate if this solution was helpful for you, thanks you!

Change from landscape to portrait

There should be an option either in the monitors drivers or in Windows Control Panel that sets it to portrait mode. I hope this helps, Yannick.

I need to flip my text to print on a transfer for a t-shirt

You want to flip the text? Do you mean you want the text to display 90 degrees from normal portrait mode into landscape?

If so, when you select a document to print a window should pop up with options to select number of copies, etc. Take note of a pull down menu with portrait, and landscape options.

Use landscape to print your job with the text in this mode.

If you want this set as the default option you can set this in your print settings in the computer.
Open your printer settings in control panel, (assuming you use windows) select the printer with right click, and choose properties. There should be an item labelled document preferences. In this you can select a between Portrait and landscape. Hope this helps.
