Hi

You can unlock your Bosch Washing machine by holding down the start button for more than 5 seconds. Also make sure if it is showing code E:20 or F:20. Turn off your machine and unplug it for 1-2 hrs if it doesn't work after the reset.

Please do accept this solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

Kenmore ultra wash machine won't run even with indicator lights on. Symbol on machine says Lock on

You have the control-lock function turned on. There should be a key located near (above or below) the lighted lock symbol. Usually, it's the Heated Dry button. Whatever it is, press and hold that key for 5 seconds. That should unlock your dishwasher and you can now use it normally.

My bosch frontloading washing machine when turned on there is flashing of spin and pause/off butons. we can't turn on the washing machine can you please tell me what the problem might be

Try pressing these buttons for 5 seconds, it will unlock.
OR
Press the "menu" button until you see"CHILD LOCK: ON" appear in the display. (if nothing is pressed within 10 seconds following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display)

Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until"CHILD LOCK : OFF" appears in the display.

Finally by pressing the"start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully unlocked..

Pl click if helped.

The digital display is showing a KEY symbol flashing, and i can't program a new load. What does this mean?

This is the childproof lock symbol and prevents you from changing a program once it has been selected The symbol flashes if the program is changed during a wash cycle. If the machine is switched off mid cycle with the lock on then it will continue the program as so as the machine is switched back on. To activate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds and the key is displayed. To deactivate the lock press the START button and hold for 4 seconds until the key symbol disappears.

Washing mashine dispalys symbol not in users manual.Where time is displayed it shows a symbol that look like a padlock. The machine does have a key symbol on side panel. Door is showing unlocked. Cannot...

Try buttons "dry" & "spin" together for a few seconds. This could be the child lock display.

Or press "end of cycle" for over 3 seconds.

Or press "options & select" till the light goes off.

Works for other machines..............
