I have a LG's LH-T255 home theater. This DVD receiver do not have a USB port. So movies in pen drives can't be viewed through this DVD. Can an USB port installed now in this home theatre

The best idea would be to get an audio interface, providing that your home theatre has an IN such as left and right phono. hese can be found for around 60 GBP. A chaeper alternative would be to buy and adapter which splits headphone to phono although an audio interface would allow you to send sound from you theatre in to your laptop as well.

the above is correct but you need to have the dvd player on with no disc in so "no disk" is shown on the front display. then hold down the stop button for 5 secs to reset the display mode back.
