SOURCE: I just bought a Hitachi
try to move the signal to another inlet that is used on some other device and work ...cause it is possible that this one ..do not detect the incoming signal ..and acts like is have non ..and gets into stand by just like when the tv is out of signal ..its the same idea..to save power..
or....change the cable you use..cause it is possible not to be perfectly compatible ..(the issu emay be it has the signal connection on a chanel and you have a mono signal from the tv .....In this case you should make a custom cable ..and make it mono..by tiding the 2 wire together ..this way you will have the same signal in both ..and if this is the case it will not stop..or ..use a mono cable ...or the other way around ...if it is a mono ..use a stereo ..cause it is possible that the channel not used in the plug to be the one that detects the lack of signal ..and commends the stopping..
anyway ..if another device works fine in another in-let ..it should work for the tv too...just plug it in that in-let and try ...It doesn't matter if it says cd or ..another device and not TV ....it just be the issue ..the signal needed to be a certain value for that one ..

Feed the audio from the audio out on your tv to the receiver. Plug your sound bar into the speaker output of the receiver and you should be up and running. You will have to turn on the receiver and control the audio there. The TV may have a setting for external speakers that you need to turn on in the audio menu. Now this is the straight forward approach but there are many factors to consider. One example would be the amplifier output being compatible with your speaker so you don't blow the speaker or the amp or amp/receiver combo.
