How much apple vinegar do I add to 4oz of water

Hello Linda Mohr,

1/2 White vinegar +1/2 water (wait 30 minutes = success.

This from the HUFFINGTON POST...

Fill the coffee maker's water chamber with equal parts white vinegar and water. Using a paper filter, allow to brew until half the chamber is empty. Turn the coffee maker off and let it sit for 30 minutes, then finish brewing. Rinse the machine by using a new paper filter to brew a pot of clear water.

I would stay away from apples.. grapes,
wine & balsamic vinegars...
I like a strong cup of coffee... but wit a
COFFEE FLAVOR (nothing else).

If you can NOT find WHITE VINEGAR use a commercial
POT CLEANER...

Freezer gurgles

    • Give it mouth wash lol

Check the water valve on the back of the refrigerator if it has an ice maker. Make sure the valve is turned completely on and not constricting the flow of water to the refrigerator via the water supply line. You might also hear a simultaneous buzzing sound when the gurgling noise occurs. In some refrigerator models, this filling process is on a timer, and you might hear the buzzing and/or gurgling every 15 minutes or so.

    • Check the water supply line for leaks or damage. You might see a puddle of liquid on the floor. If air is pulled into the water line as the refrigerator is pulling in water, that can create a gurgling noise. Replace the damaged hose yourself, or contact an appliance repair technician for assistance

      • f he refrigerator to feel a slight vibration. This is probably the compressor processing the refrigerant, which is a liquid. This flow of refrigerant can produce a gurgling sound, and it is normal. However, a simple way to reduce this noise is to make fewer trips to the fridge. When you open the door, you let hot air in, which means the compressor has to work harder (and gurgle the refrigerant more) to cool things back down.

    • Wait while the refrigerator completes its defrosting cycle if you hear water dripping and gurgling in the freezer area. When the heating coil turns on, the melted water from the frost flows down to a drain pan for evaporation to take place. The defrost process usually takes about 30 minutes. This is automatic and cannot be prevented in most refrigerators. Keep the closed to try to prevent unnecessary frost buildup.

    • Wait while the water equalizes in the refrigerator if you hear a gurgling sound when shutting the door. This is normal and is a result of air being forced through the drain tube. The gurgling can last several seconds but should eventually dissipate this usually happens with old fridges upgrade its a good investment

Random banging and whooshing sound

New water heater?

http://waterheatertimer.org/Repair-water-heater-valve.html
Water does not compress. So each faucet has air chamber located behind wall. Air chamber is usually just a vertical piece of pipe about 18" long with a cap so it never fills with water. When water flows... all the water back to the main supply begins to move toward the faucet. The weight of this water can be considerable. When faucet is turned off, the whole column of water suddenly stops, but weight of water is still pushing forward.
Without air chambers to cushion the sudden stop of water weight, the pipes bang and rattle. With air chambers, the weight of the water pushes up into the air chamber causing the air to compress, which silently cushions the weight of water, but also causes a push-back when water stops moving forward. The push back can then move water backwards where it compresses air inside another air chamber. So the water can slosh back and forth.
IF you have factory-installed heat traps on your water heater, these things have rubber baffles. The baffles hum and rattle and whistle and clog and cause strange sounds that carry through the pipes and water heater and wood joists etc. The water sloshing back and forth can move the baffles and cause noise.
Or maybe you have a check valve that has gotten loose.

Noisy water pipes when neighbours use water

Install air chamber to cushion sudden-stop of flowing water.
Water flow coming to sudden stop is called water hammer, and will bang pipes, but also loosen plumbing joints, causing leaks.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-troubleshoot-electric-problems-with-water-heater.html#bang
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Flow-rates-water-hammer-600.jpg

Air chamber has to be vertical, and about 18" long, with cap on top.
By code each Hot and Cold line at each tap will have air chamber located behind the wall. So there are two air chambers at each tap.

In your case, you can probably add air chamber to your Hot and Cold lines and solve problem for both dwellings.

Water hammer is caused because water does not compress like air.
So when long column of water suddenly stops... the whole pipe-full of water comes to sudden halt... and that water could weigh 1-1/2 pounds ... and just like a hammer head moving, the weight of water bangs the pipes to dissipate energy, causing noise.

Bryant plus 90 intermittent start-up

That's an intermittent problem. Could be: dirty filter, dirty blower wheel, dirty secondary heat exchanger, dirty evap. coil, weak or damaged high temp safety, loose wire connection, fault at control board, poor air flow. Just about 100 guesses! Could be's don't solve anything. Check for cleanliness. Clean flame sensor(flame rod that burner flame comes in contact with). These are the first I would try.

Hi there what is happenig if i got my air conditioning regased an now the air blows through for about 20 minutes an then its like the water is stopping the air flow speed

It sounds like the drain tube for the evaporator chamber is blocked by dirt or small leaves and is not allowing any condensed water to drain awa, consequently reducing air flow and producing a gurgling sound. Check under dash for a rubber hose that runs from under the evaporator chamber and air ducting through to engine bay. A bit of sqeezing may help dislodge blockage but it may need removing fully to clean properly.

Check inlet water flow to your machine. Try pouring water manually
in the wash chamber. If machine works OK, it is inlet water problem.

Remove the hose and watch for free flow.Clean the strainer attached
to the machine. Beyond this point you can contact repairman!

Saltwater pump keeps reading low flow...but water is flowing throught it...have already ckd the flow sensor..the filter pump seems to not sound the same as it did before the new filter went in...pool only...

sounds like air lock
Start by closing your plungers
now get the cartridge out and drain the lower bleeder screw
put filter back in and the cover ring
now open the top bleeder screw on top of the cartridge cover
open the other bleeder screw on the pump itself if there is one if not go right to opening the plunger that discharges the water
When water start coming out of the bleeder on the cap open the intake plunger
wait 5 seconds then turn your filter on
wait 1 minute then close all bleeders
This should do it

What is the correct engine oil for an xj900f

Any 10/40 oil will do, but you have to run motorcycle 10/40. Car oil will not do, unless you are stranded, etc. Always replace your crush washer, or sealing washer. Prefill your new oil filter with the new oil. Start and let run for a minute, turn off and wait for a couple of minutes to get the correct oil level. Check the oil level when the bike is straight up. Car smoking and shuting off

Why did you replace your radiator?
I ask this because I assume the car was overheating or overheated after the radiator swap. If this is the case then how long was it driven while over heating?
Driving in an overheated condition even for a few minutes is enough to warp the aluminum head, (just ask my mother, not once but twice).
First thing I would check is the oil. If the oil appears milky it means that coolant\water if flowing between the oil ports and coolant ports in the head. Also was the color of the smoke white and did it have a sweet odor. If yes to either then the coolant\water is flowing from the coolant ports into the combustion chamber. You would aslo notice a loss of coolant\water with no apparent source.
It sounds like you have a blow head gasket and you can be sure that it also warped the head. A compression test would confirm this.
I really wish I could give you a better explanation for this.
