Did this printer work before the upgrade of your software? Does it print with the Zebra driver? What OS are you using (Win98, 2000, XP, etc.)?

I have a Zebra 140xi and I need to do a print

If you press and hold the PAUSE key while you turn on the printer, then the test pattern used for aligning the printhead and checking for elements not working (prints a black box) will be printed.

Hope that helps !

Running two Zebra's through Easylabel Platinum

When connecting Easylabel to a Zebra through the RS232 port, it's very important that the serial settings match between Easylabel and the printer. Easylabel defaults to 9600 baud, 8 data bits, none parity. The Zebra defaults to 9600 baud, 7 data bits, and even parity. This mismatch causes the data light to flash but no print.

Change the printer setting to 8 data bits and none for parity and the baud rate can be whatever but make sure they match from Easylabel to the printer.

Hope that helps !

No print /No error message

First, you need to make sure the ribbon and labels are loaded correctly. Follow the diagrams on the inside of the door. Once this is done, check the print speed and darkness from the front panel. If you have a high print speed and a low darkness, depending on the media you are using, it may not show the print. Try either slowing the print speed down or raising the darkness.

Hi. I Recently inherited a Zebra 140 XiII(2) and I cannot set the print speed as the option doesn't show on the LCD menu or when I print out the printer config settings. Any help would be appreciated.

Print speeds on the Zebra xiII series printers are set via software. There is no printer menu speed setting on the xiII series. Zebra didn't allow speed adjusts thru the front panel menu until they made the xiIII series printers... The ZPL code command for print speed is "^PR"

Zebra Lp 2844-Z printer flashing green and red alternately?

-Install ZDownloader from Zebra's web.- http://www.ups.zebra.com/ctp/upgrade.aspx visit this page and do nothing to use in step 3 part to download for your stable firmware, only find and download it
-Turn off printer and get ready on Zdownloader sofware-You could see easly "Auto Detect Printers" on ZDownloader, press and hold the label feed button and keep your finger in there then click the "Auto Detect Printers", if you are seeing your printer in list now, continue to keep your finger in feed button-Select the firware.prg file, right click with select your printer in list and click "Download to Selected." -you are still keeping your finger in feed button in this time. You will see the feeding will start and your problem fixed.
Sorry for my english, haven't got enough practice.
