Tank has slight wobble after installation

I just installed a Jacuzzi Perfecta AZ33959 toilet. It works as it should and there are no leaks. However, the tank has a slight wobble to it. I do not want to over tighten it and possibly crack the tank. Is this normal? Any suggestion to fix the wobble and firm it up? Thanks

I'll need to get a deep socket as you can't get a wrench on the tank bolts and the threaded shafts are very long. I hope I do not over tighten - that is why I had to get a new toilet - I was reinstalling the old toilet and I overtightened the tank nuts. Thanks for the advice.

You need to tighten the nuts under the tank. the tank is not even.
The best method is hand tight the nuts to approximately same pressure on all 3 nuts. then use socket ratchet, one turn each, one at a time, till the tank stop rocking. stop right there. flush the toilet, check for leak. tighten as needed.
make sure all 3 nuts have even pressure.

main thing is to have even pressure on all sides. and tight enough not to have any leak and yet is not too tight to crack the tank.

not that difficult. time consuming. Plumber charged $95/hr for doing this.

DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN!!!! Use the toilet tank stabilizer by Tank Truss. Super easy DIY product - we use it at all of our rental properties.

Why would the jacuzzi perfecta toilet handle comes off and now won't fill, just keeps running

Handle retaining nut either came loose or broke off. Check the flapper valve, if its not completely closed water will keep running out, and fill valve will stay open trying to fill the tank.

Tank to bowl leaks

Turn water supply line of to toilet. Flush and hold handle down to drain water from tank. Take lid of tank off and use a towel to soak up the rest of the water inside tank. Remove nuts on bottom of Tank bolts. Lift off and lay down on its side. Remove the rubber or sponge type gasket that is on bottom of the tank that covers the nut from standpipe assembly. Buy new gasket and install back on bottom of tank over Nut for standpipe. Put tank back on toilet bowl. Install bolts and tighten. reconnect water line and turn on.

I need to replace the wax seal on my jacuzzi perfecta toilet, do i need to order one from jacuzzi or can i use a generic one from a hardware store?

I would just use the one from hardware store. nothing special about the wax from the manufacturer except the price...

be sure to do a thurough cleaning on the bottom of the toilet and make sure it is dry before you install new wax ring or it will leak.
you can actually use a hair dryer or set it in the sun to soften the wax ring, don't melt it, just soften it. makes a much easier time when setting the toilet down onto the wax.

Running toilet

At the top of the float there is a screw head, you need to adjust that until the water stops at the proper level. If this does not stop it from running then you will have to replace the float and I also recommend that you replace the flapper as well. This is not an expensive fix and the instructions are very easy to follow.

We bought the Jacuzzi Perfecta toilet 1 year ago

The complication here is that Jacuzzi does not make toilets anymore than Sears makes refrigerators. In Sear's case their Kenmore refrigerators are from Whirlpool with the Kenmore name.

It is my understanding that Eljer was the manufacturer of the toilets with the Jacuzzi name typically sold at box stores. With that as a starting point, surf the web for any Eljer toilet tank replacement parts and see if you can find a similiar flusher

How tight is the tank/bowl supposed to be a

They only need to be tight enough to sufficiently seal the donut between the tank and the bowl. Some movement is acceptable. It is better to be a little loose than to overtighten them and risk cracking the tank.

did you put the wax ring on the floor first or on the toilet?
it should be on the toilet first, then move to the "hole in the gound"
