Question about Dryers
Kenmore dryer all of a sudden yesterday quit heating. It still tumbles and everything but does not heat up. I have checked with my ohm meter and have continuity across the two poles on the element, and there are two small items mounted on the element housing and I don't know if they are supposed to show continuity across them or not. I also checked across the thermal fuse and it also checks to be good. Can someone please tell me how and if the items mentions are supposed to show any kind of reading across them when unplugged? It is a Kenmore 110.96595520 Electric Dryer, and was one of the first digital models to come out about eleven or twelve years ago. Please Help??
