The rear right wheel on my John Deere Z225 is scrubbing the frame.

A: Scribbling the frame:
-Possibly the bolts on the wheel are lose. And it turn warble that's why it scrub the frame.
B: Uneven cut:
-Uneven cut is not the tire or wheel. Possibly the height adjust on the cutter deck is broken or lose bolt. Or may be bend cutter blade as well.
Check it out

Good luck

Have zero turn, was cutting grass and all of it went dead. restarted and pulled PTO and went dead. will start and run until I try to engage PTO. It stalls out every time. Any ideal what going on?

You probably have one of those pesky safety sensors that has gone bad. These sensors are the little button activated units located at various contacts points (under the operator seat, the parking brake, drive handle ports, etc.). If the "stall" sounds the same as turning the engine off with the key, then this is probably the problem. If the "stall" is more of a choking down, like when trying to cut high, thick grass too quickly, then you could have a restriction on the deck drive system that is causing excessive drag (belt too tight, damaged belt, pulley bearing, foreign debris etc.).

Have a Cox Stockman ride-on lawnmower that wont cut. Just added 2 new blades (using 4 high lift blades) and still have to go over 100mm grass 3, 4 or more times to cut it down.

check for slipping drive belts
check that the cutter spindle bearings are in good condition as they may be failing and slowing down the cutter blade speed

I was cutting the grass when the small wheel on cutter deck touched a breeze block causing the engine to stop. Since then when I turn the engine on, the mower deck won't engage.

Sounds like you may have broken the shear pin in one of the drive pulleys. Check and see if your drive belt is in place and also make sure the belt is not broken. If you have hit something hard enough to stall the engine I feel you have to replace the shear pin.

Zero turn mower is sputtering and dies

Check everything is clean. Check the air filter is clean, check that the engine cooling fan, cutting blades and cutting deck are free of grass. Check all the drive belt pulleys to ensure accumulated grass is not jamming anything. Check the fuel filler cap is clean and the breather hole works.

Engine stalls when blade is engaged

the best way to check is to run the engine with you on it then lift off the seat and see if the seat sensor is cutting off then put a bag with some weight in it and turn on the engine it should run ok if the sensor is working and lift the back box to see if the sensor works there.. the other cause could be a build up of grass in teh cutter area stopping the blades fron moving this can caus a stall if you get a hose and blast under the cutter guards and make shure the grass shute is clear for the grass to exit this may help to mine cuts out if there is a blockage here and the grass cant get out after it has been cut it builds up at the exit plates.. Hope this works AB
