We have this all-in-one product at our office and we fax a lot of reports with it. We have to baby-sit the machine to make sure it's not going to "eat" the reports we are trying to fax. And, if you're not standing over it and watching it fax you cannot be 100% certain the fax went through.

3 possibilities.
1 If you use this macine to copy labels, there may well be a small piece of a label stuck in the paper path on the crumpled side. Or a small bit of paper.
2, the paper pickup on the crumpled side is 'polished', and no longer feeding the paper at the same time as the uncrumpled side. They can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol. Though that is a temporary fix and the paper pickups should be replaced if cleaning fixes the issue.
3 The fuser film has a tear in it on the crumpled side you need to rule out 1 & 2 before going to three again replaceable but a bit more difficult

Do not oil the rollers!
List the cover to the Document Feeder (ADF).
Take a very damp cloth with a dab of dish detergent and rub the rollers clean. Also, clean the pad the same way.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I can print on plain paper but when I use photo paper it tells me there is a JAM although the paper is barely in the printer.

Do not mix photo paper in the feed with any other type paper. Also, when you attempt to print, specify what type of paper you will be using to print pictures. Plain paper usually prints with no problems.

Paper jam, removed paper but still says jammed. Is there any way to tell where the jam is or reset machine ?

You should be able to have a piece of paper feed all the way without hanging.
Most of the times, you can see a small piece of paper stuck in a corner.
I have used a cut piece of plastic ( from a file folder ) and worked small pieces out that way.
Good luck, Happy Holiday's

A paper must have stucked in the printer. Kindly open the printer where you enter the toner. Take the toner out and then look for any piece of paper or something has stucked. After clearing it, Place the toner back and then try to print....

False Paper Jam

Unfortunately, I think that the sensors are beginning to fail, and that is the result of a faulty sensor. How old is the printer? If I was you I would call HP and talk to them.

L7590 HP paper jam, I can't reach the paper

This happened to me and here's what I did. You can open up the machine right in the middle and access this area. Lift up below the menu buttons and screen and it hinges straight up. If the jam isn't there, go to the back of the unit and push on the gray button and open that back cartridge area for different access. Finally, you can pull out the paper tray and get access to the remaining area. One of these methods should work. Good luck.

Paper jam in auto feeder

Well you should be able to pull out the whole sheet of paper. If the jammed paper has a piece missing, then you did not clear the jam completely and will have to in ther and retrive the torn piece of paper.
The source of the jam can be a worn p/u roller or an obstruction in the paper path.
