Re: set time for toshiba 3020sd 20 button digital phone...

#652 Time
#651 Date

To set the time you fist have to know military time. if the time is 1:00 am it is 0100 military, 6:00pm is 1800

1:00am= 0100
etc until you get to 12pm
and so on until midnight 12am

now the minutes are the same

the seconds are the same
5:35:45 am= 053545
8:10:30 pm= 201030

so the is is the format as Phone dude was putting it Hours:Minutes:Seconds

to adjust set update the time and date on the toshiba dkt3020sd dkt 3020-sd dkt-3020sd

you have to just press # followed by 652 access code
then you will hear the tone twice. now take the time you have with the formula above

example time is now 6:10:30pm you press #652 wait for tone, the enter 181030 then press # to accept. It helps if you just have a cell or a standard clock that you want to sync. I personally use my works computer and wait to the time is even say 5pm easier so i would just wait to that time to adjust the phones clock. #652 tone look at computer clock and press 170000 just before it hits that time and when it does i just press # and viola its sync. that is just me. you can set it what ever time you want. if you dont care about being a few seconds off the just round it up and just press # its almost 720am so heck just #652 and wait for tone and dial 070000 and then # and your set.

Date is alittle easier.

again its just #651 Month day year 03 10 2008 03102008 # done. I hate this ****** daylight savings time

WEll good luck it took me 2 hrs of searching to finially get this answer and now i am sharing it

Where i finally found the info

Here is the complete owners manual

This is why we make the big bucks....

can you send me it ? I will translate to english and it is so silly it is not funny. IF you want to try again, do NOT read into it!!! put in th code then follow the screen or soft keys below display. usually I find entering 3 ways one will work. For example the manual will read enter mmddyy or mmddyyyy: hhmmss and usually it means enter feature code example; *#88 00000 # mmddyyyy hhmmss and so on. I do NOT Read this!!! enter the code and read the screen then experiment. example; 10172007105700  do not use your brain and you should figure it out!

Do you mean send the call to another phone?
Make sure the line is not on hold (push the caller's line) then push Cnf/Trn, dial the extension you want the call to go to, then hang up.
The person you're sending to will receive that call on their speakerphone button and it will ring in a different tone.

Problem with Speakerphone

It is maybe some setting called Handsfree. On the phones that work, press Feature *0 and press the buttons on the right from the bottom up. The very bottom button should be handsfree/mute and the next one or two Intercom xx(x). Now check the ones that don't work and see if they read the same. I'm guessing not.

It takes system admin access to turn on handsfree per set. Check with your telephone system manager or installer for the programming.

Speakerphone does not work

Try pressing the Feature button and dialing the digit 1. This will turn the microphone on and the MIC lite should turn red. Don't lift the handset or press Speaker, just press Feature 1. This will also turn the MIC off if you want it disabled again.
