Does Oscilloscope 2.51 work with the Apple Macbook PRO?

We want to plug to the computer to monitor frequencies and sound. It says to use with PC but does not mention the Mac.

SOURCE: Can I use an Apple M7649 Studio Display with a MacBook Pro

Do you have the black unibody Macbook Pro that was just released, or the silver model?

Since the display is DVI, it will directly hook up to the silver model. If you have the new model, you need a mini DVI to DVI adapter.

SOURCE: Running a Mac with an Hp monitor

You are using a monitor created for use with a MAC, the only monopolistic systems manufacturer in the world. No one may make anything for MAC except MAC. That you are able to get something working is a testament to your tenacity.

Now, see whether you can use different cabling to connect the monitor to the MAC.

Use the DVI, or single round multi-pin connector between the two devices, PC and Monitor ... sorry, MAC and monitor.

With the digital signals more tightly aligned, you should be able to get the pair running in sync a lot more easily than with normal monitor to PC cables.

The MAC has been made to be a finer machine for the creative industry, so you must also be creative, and get the two working together using the right technology.

Cheers!

SOURCE: Can a vizio monitor be used with an apple G4 desktop computer

Oh wow guess I was proved wrong! But I read here that alot of people were having problems, my only concern is if the computer has a pc mode that can use hdmi or mini display port. If not you may have to mess with the settings to get a good picture.

I have a 24" aoc 2436Vh display and a new 15"

I purchased the AOC 2436Vh display yesterday. To get my MacBook Pro to work with it I purchased Apple's Mini DisplayPort to VGA Adapter. Since the monitor comes with the VGA cable, all you need is the adapter to plug it into your MacBook Pro. It works beautifully and set up is easy if you know your way around the Mac. Although the HDMI works perfectly with my PS3, I strongly recommend the Apple Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter. I hope this helps.

My macbook pro wont start and i can hear the noise of the starup but the screen is black

Connect to external monitor to isolate the problem. If you get a picture on external monitor, then you know your screen is fu.k.d up. Since its a MacBook Pro, it might still be under the 1 year warranty, so take it to the Apple store and have them deal with it. If you get no picture on the external monitor, then you know you got a problem with the computer.

Is these a driver to get USB connection to macbook

Are you asking if there is an adapter? There actually is an adapter (USB to S-Video) that will work between the two. However, with my MacBook C2D 2.4 GHZ, I use mini DVI to VGA adapter. This allows instant laptop to projector picture and sound. You can use it for anything from powerpoint to movies or even as a giant monitor. The mini-DVI to VGA adapter can be purchased at Best Buy for less than $20. Look for it in the accessory aisle near the Apple machines. IMO, this is a priceless addition to your MacBook. I hope this helps! Please remember to vote if it does.

Unable to boot up.

Try plugging your laptop into a monitor to see if the laptop boots up but the screen doesn't work.

If you have an image on the secondary monitor, sounds like the lcd on your laptop is defunct and should be repaired or replaced by an authorized Apple dealer or repair shop.

Either way you can take your MacBook into your nearest Apple Authorized repair shop and have them look into.

Make sure you do the full research on these things, so that you don't spend money on the wrong thing, adapter and connectors can be somewhat confusing.

Apple 23" Cinema HD Display went off

Hey - I just got done with 30 minutes of trying my cinema HD on my macbook pro and plugging and unplugging. When I plugged it into an extension cord in another socket the monitor started right up. I've had this configuration in my office for years with no problem...until today. Did mac send us a system upgrade that caused a problem with the monitor's power source???? Good luck!!!!
