No need to save the alarm. When you select "Alarm" in the Clock app ... you add and Alarm by touching the + sign, enter a time you want to Alarm to go off ... the first time the "slider" that turns the Alarm On/Off will be green - in the on position. When the Alarm goes off you turn if off by sliding the windows from left to right. The alarm will still be saved in your list of alarms ... when you want to add another Alarm, just touch the + sign again. If you want to activate a previously added Alarm, just slide the button to the right to On ...
On the radio, repeatedly press the Alarm Mode button until the desired alarm mode indicator below "Alarm" is displayed. The music note indicates radio and the sound waves indicate the alarm tone. If no icons appear on the display, that means the alarm is turned off
Radio and tone
To turn alarm 2 on/off, follow these steps:
Turn the system off
On the radio, press and hold the Alarm Set button. "Alarm" flashes on the display
Release Alarm Set, and repeatedly press Alarm Mode until the desired alarm mode indicator above "Alarm 2" is displayed. If no icons appear on the display, that means the alarm is turned off. The "Alarm 2" indicator will continue to flash on the display for 10 seconds. When the flashing stops, alarm 2 is set
These clocks are built to operate at 50 cycles(Europe)
and 60 cycles(USA) and this is controlled by the audible alarm setting. The
clock has to be set on the loudest (highest tone) alarm for the clock to operate at the
correct setting. You control the loudness of the alarm by pushing the minus
button (second from the right) repeatedly until you here the loudest (highest) sounding tone. Leave
it at that setting and the clock will work fine.
I just "personalised" the outdoor profile to set the message alert to silent, while still keeping the ring volume on high. I also picked the divert call option so the phone doesn't ring. So I just change the phone profile before I go to sleep and divert my calls. Kind of an awkward solution..I'm considering getting an alarm clock or just using my old phone's alarm clock
