If you are vented into a chimney with out a liner this can cause noise to occur because vent gases are slowed down because of vent build ups more heat into exchanger. If you can not change vent lower gas pressure.

Toyostove (laser 30). When it starts, why does it make one loud thump/pop like it backfired and then runs fine?

Sounds like the pilot is short causing thump , clean out pilot or get it serviced .

I have a Sylvania decorative stove with heater model QC 889 that sometimes makes a loud noise when "heat" is on. It doesn't happen when just the "fire" is on. Is there anything...

It's been a while..but the problem is lubrication. All screws need to be removed from the entire back an heater unit. There is a 1/2 in black rubber plug thay must be pryed out carefully (butter knife?) Pop out black plastic from the rubber and lub the center liberally with vasciline. Put everything back together while cursing the "engineer" who "planned" this. PS good time to change the light bulb.

My goldstar above the stove microwave popped and now won't heat. Everything else on the unit still works. Is this a problem that can be repaired? Thanks.

Did it make a loud pop like a firecracker?
Sounds like the High Voltage Diode shorted out and it probably is making a low or loud growling noise now..... ???

Honda heater makes loud noise

ok well its possible there may be something stuck in the blower motor under the passenger side dash. ..or the blower motor itself could be on its way out, sometimes leaves or sticks from trees and even stove inside the glove box can find their way into the windshield cowling and into your blower motor..u can remove it to check by unplugging its white connector and remove the 8mm bolts that secure it into the heater core box..its very easy to remove..the 8mm bolts / screws should also have a phillips head on them...

Very loud wall heater (bang!!) heat up and cool down.

cozy heat exchangers do tend to make a lil more noise than avg. if its popping before the blower comes on its proubly the heat exchanger expanding. you would have to watch the exchanger while it was heating to see exactly what is causing the noise. but as a renter you should try reporting it to the landlord first and try to get a tech there before digging yourself

AMANA REFRIGERATOR MAKES A LOUD POP!

Dear Customer

Please perform the following

If it's cooling ok, they're probably normal sounds. Modern refrigerators can make many noises, most people aren't home long enough to hear them. A popping sound could be defrost water hitting a hot defrost element, or refrigerant making noise in the cooling lines. If it's working ok, ignore it. Please rate this,Thank u
