The good news is that the problem can probably be fixed. The bad news is that it will need to go in for service. Contact Nikon USA Service at 1-800-645-6687 9AM-8PM EST, Monday to Friday.

I want to find a Nikon digital camera service center in Cairo

If you're not too picky you can order a third-party charger from here for less than a quarter of the price. I run three of my Nikons with chargers I got from there.

I can't upload my Nikon coolpix s2500 photos to my computer even though I have installed ViewNX2 from Disk supplied

ViewNX won't download pictures from your camera. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Nikon Transfer or Picasa.

Nikon Coolpix S2500 - How do you see how much memory is available after taking photo's

In the shooting and playback modes, if you're in still mode (not video) then in the lower right corner of the screen is a number in square brackets []. This number is a rough estimate of the number of additional pictures you can take before the card fills up. If the card can hold 10,000 or more additional pictures this number will be 9999. In video mode this displays an estimate of the number of additional minutes of video the card can hold.

Easy.
Remove memory card

shut down
re-install memory card.....
If it does not turn on with memory card removed, connect to charger and turn on
