Power transformers are safety parts and should only be replaced by the same type or one specified by Eltax the maker. You should contact them for the spare parts department or the place that stocks them.
Assuming you mean a Denon AVR 587, 1. Turn the unit off. 2. Press and hold Speaker A and B buttons at the same time. 3. Still holding Speaker A and B buttons, press the Power button to turn the unit on. 4. The display should flash on and off at 1 second intervals. 5. Release the Speaker A and B buttons.
Seems you set it to "Stereo Direct" mode. This is an analog only mode, while you are using a digital signal. You can change this with the mode button.
Press menu, on the main menu screen 1, scroll down to stereo direct. Turn this OFF. This should solve your issue!
Turn the unit off by main switch (not a standby button). Press and hold "Speakers-A" and "Speakers-B" buttons and turn on main switch. Display blinks. Release the buttons after 3 seconds. Receiver is reseted.
The problem might be that the set can not handle the change in signal. Try setting the AVR-247 to 720P first then turning on the set. Or manually set the TV to receive 720P then change the AVR. TI believe that you have a connectivity issue where the two units are not speaking the same language at the same time. Update this with your results and please post the TV make and model.
Eltax AVR-200 will start up in protection mode if the amplifer went into protection mode due to high volume before it was turned OFF and it will start at the same volume level as it had before power OFF.
To correct this you must shift to another input without signal, then turn the volume down before it goes into protection mode again.
