Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Hello, my iiyama routinely displays the Contrast

15sunnybank, Did you try swapping it to a different PC to make sure that the problem is in the monitor and NOT in your PC? Sometimes when the DC voltages (which power up the electronic circuits in these LCD displays) become marginal due to age of unit, then weird stuff like unexpected/uncalled images/menu's could appear. First have a TECH type friend verify if all dc voltages are within specification. One more thing!! Don't post here without letting us know some history on the unit you hope to get help with. Age of unit?? Approx total # of "on" hours??
What happens if you put a 10 inch fan blowing cool air into the monitor?

SOURCE: On unpluging the monitor (Iiyama Prolite e435s)all

When you have strange symptom like this, the first place to look will be the power supply section, look for bad caps (leaking/bulging tops) first.

I cant click on the brightness option in on the iiyama monitor with id nr E2282HD

If you are configuring the menu option displayed on the monitor itself, there is no control clicking any options with the mouse cursor. You have to adjust the brightness settings touching the buttons on the monitor it self.

Iiyama prolite e1902wsv white screen , no picture

From time to time, I've the same white screen problem with my IIYAMA E1902WSV.

I can resolve that issue with a reset to factory settings.
1- Turn ON power (blue led)
2- Push on the MENU button and keep the button pushed while
pulling out the power cord.
3- Plug the power cord back while keeping the MENU button
pushed.

You should see the picture again.

This is a hardware issue of Monitor.
Most probable reason is defective key switches.Test switches some maybe leaky-Replace.

do exactly this:
- power off monitor with the POWER button!
- unplug power cord
- hold -/+ and keep holding them when briefly pressing POWER to get the monitor back on
- press menu

You are now in the service menu. Adjust the settings as you like.

- press EXIT
- power off monitor with button
- power on monitor with button
- AUTO SETUP... will be performed
- re-adjust brightness/contrast

Done!

No menu

One of the buttons on the front of your monitor is probably stuck.
(Only one of the buttons work at a time on most monitors)

I cannot recommend taking it apart your self (have a tech do it)
But take off the front, check the buttons after you take off the front, and if it still occurs unplug the buttons from the monitor.
If it stops (which it should) replace or fix the controls)
If it doesn't, call an exorcist (just joking) or buy a new monitor.

Prolite e435s iiyama screen

Hello,

Monitor screens will have color tints when any of pins of the VGA connector is damaged or bent(I assume you are using a 15 pin VGA connection :) ) Please remove the monitor connector cable and check if you have bent or damaged pin at either side of the cable.

If it does not resolves the issue, replace any devices or equipments that may have electro magnetic fields like an UPS from the premises of the monitor.

Also, you can try resetting monitor. All the monitor will have an option for reset in the Menu.

Hope this works!
Good Luck

Colour changing

I found this on another site:
[QUOTE=numbnutjas]I had the same problem along with lots of others who bought this great prolite monitor.

Whenever you turn the power off for more than five seconds the monitor looses an important bit of info of a hidden menu. Iilyama are not keen on publicizing the fact their monitor has a bug!

Follow these steps very carefully, it might not work the first time but it does work I promise.

Make sure that the moniter power button is off.

Unplug monitor from mains ( the auto exit button should flash red after about five seconds and you hear a popping sound.)

plug monitor back in mains.

hold down + and - on the monitor

now hold down power button on monitor

let go of power when power button when the green led lights up

let go of + and - buttons

wait a few seconds and press menu, a hidden menu will appear in the top right

use the + and - buttons to move the hilighted option over the auto colour option in the menu
push the menu button.

It does work, but if you have any problems: email at : miamoo2038 at hotmail dot co dot uk

Screen settings wont save

To solve the problem of left-alignment, try setting the output of your computer to 75Hz. See http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311403 for how to do this.
