Reset timer for energy saver mode

The energy saver mode is kicking in after just a few minutes of inactivity.  I would like to change it to a manual mode so that the users don't have to wait for it to warm up every time.  We can set it to energy saver when we leave the office at night.  This is a new copier for our office and we do not have a user manual at this time.  Thanks for any  help you can provide.

Re: Reset timer for energy saver mode

Every new unit comes with the user's manuals, and every new unit has free tech support from the vendor. What you are looking for is under the "System Settings" found after pressing "Additional Functions".

My Canon image class MF5350d won't go into energy saver mode anymore

Odds are that some one did some panic button pushing at one time. You need to look in your owners manual or down load one from the web. Or you can go into the user settings and scroll down to were you see a setting for energy save. Good Luck

Why is light blinking on on-off button?

The blinking light indicates that the printer is on power saver mode. The Power Saver Mode saves energy by lowering power consumption during extended periods of inactivity. However, if you try to print from your computer when the printer is on power saver mode, the printer should automatically wake up and prints the job. You can also manually wake it up by just pressing and releasing the power button. Thanks.

Can you change the energy saver adjustment

you can change it. actually it is on user's settings
it is located under general settings key operator mode.
just scroll down for energy saving
mostly the default value is sleep mode. after you press the sleep mode, the it will ask you for the sleep time you want. just press a number ( each number corresponds to number of minute)

that's it

My copier keeps changing it's image quality from ''text'' to ''photo'' when my copier comes out of energy saver mode. How can I get the copier to stay in ''text'' mode and not revert to ''photo'' mode...

I am not completely up on all the Canon machines, but they tend to do thing the same.
If you have you manual handy, look under user programmable features, these types of settings are usually set by the user of the machine. You should be able to set print mode default.

Hope this is of some help

Energy saver mode

Yes you can change the power save mode. I don’t remember from where you can change it. but its easy for you if you get the all operation manual list form the printer, get the setting page from printer by pressing the menu from your printer then you will get all commands so then you can change all settings of your printer.
