Question about GE Profile 26.6 cu. ft. Side-by-Side Refrigerator with Dispenser TFX27PRBWW
The lights are on, and you can hear a fan running...but all the food in the freezer is thawed out. and the fridge is warming. When I try to move the temp gauge (digital) i can hear it beeping but i cannot see if its making the temp warmer or colder.
I went through troubleshooting steps on the Internet and found my defrost timer was not working properly. It was located behind the plastic panel which is where your plastic temperature knobs are. There is a slot all the way to the right of the temperature knobs once you lift the plastic panel, and when you turn it clockwise it will eventually click and my refrigerator started cooling.

Check the cooling coils, and very likely they are full of dust preventing cooling.
I have an attachment I put on my vacuum cleaner to clean out these coils at least once per year.

Check if the outside walls and back are hot to warm,. if not warm posible low level gas, or commpressor not pumping gas around.
