Question about Neff B1691 Single circotherm super Stainless Steel Electric Oven
I have a Neff B1432N2GB/05 which works perfectly except that the grill element gets warm, but never hot enough to actually grill something. I have just replaced the grill element with a new & original Neff spare part but the problem remains.
I suspect that it may be a problem with a temperature limiter or regulator, both of which I understand are fitted, but I do not know which it might be. Given that the fan oven works perfectly and maintains temperature, does the grill have it's own regulator/limiter or is it a shared component which is still working for the fan oven but defective on the grill?
I could just replace both but if I can isolate the component I can hopefully save a few pennies in the process?
Many thanks for any assistance.

Yes ,it is the element.
You need to remove the panel at the rear of the oven, this will give you access to the element.

SOURCE: Neff faulty Fan
I would not think that both fan and element are faulty, although it is possible.
if it has a timer make sure that it is on manual and not on auto, as this would stop the oven working.
Other possible fault is faulty main oven selector switch.
Hope this helps. Please do not for get feedback .

The only solution here is to replace the oven element. as this is the reason the oven is not heating.
This to be found at the rear of the oven compartment, behind a removeable cover.
This will solve the problem.

It is most likely that the heating element has failed but there is the outside possibility it could be a faulty oven temperature sensor.
