Problem is that it's a low cost 35$ tablet so repair service might not be worth to pay, looks rather as a disposable device..
Tablets are usually manufactured plain and then branded. You might find another make that shares the same hardware with the firmware you want in the public domain. The unit will then announce it as a different manufacturer's brand, but that's of little consequence.
Using a PC that can access the web. There are sites that have all the 'factory' software in about 10 different files. You connect to the PC using a USB port, and then 'shell' or 'command' into the Azpen with it powered on. you can then reload the software and should be good.
