Question about JVC KD-R740BT
I want to make sure that this radio works as the factory one did with the steering radio controls and the amp that is supposed to to be installed in the truck.
Installation will be easier if you purchase an adapter that will correctly match your JVC unit to the Dodge wiring.

Connect Yellow to Battery (always 12V), red to ignition, and black to ground. Disconnect all others. Check it. If the radio stays on and plays CD, then radio is good. You may check other wiring

Hi dont know if anyone reads this still. First the finger tip control you have to rewire it into the new cd player with a Autoleads PC99-X26 - Peugeot 206 plus connection to your make of radio. Also the wireing problem some times is down to the red and yellow wires being the wrong way round swap them over and this should solve this.
