Question about Philips Televison & Video
My DVD Player doesn´t work. It is like the power connector would be unplugged. Absolutely no power from one day to the next!
My Idea: It is a malfunktion of the power supply unit. Anyone here, who knows what exactly I can do to make it work again? Any special capacitor I have to change or so? Did anybody repair that before?
Well the fact is it's near impossible to tell you exactly what part is faulty without having it in hand to test and look at.
Second, DVD players are cheap these days and are typically not meant to be serviced. You would also need to be extremely good at soldering as to not mess the main board more than it is.
