At the top of the needle shaft there should be a small screw and the machine usually comes with a tool to loosen it. loosen it just enough to drop out the needle. take note of which side of the needle has a flat surface and be sure to insert the new needle in the same direction. retighten snugly.

Needle threader won't work on my Singer 4423

Hi there,

The needle threader hook is very tiny and easily bent or damaged.
The needle threader is designed not to turn, if the needle is not at its most upper position to protect the threader - Turn hand wheel until needle reaches its highest position.
Needle not alining with threader hook - Replace needle.
Threader hook bent - Replace with new needle threader hook.

Hope this helps.

Read more from the link I attatched.

Good luck & have a nice day!

The needle is hitting the plate all of a sudden?

If it hit all of a sudden it most likely was your needle got bent. Replace needle and don't pull the material. Let the foot do the work.

I tried replacing a needle and the ***** does not grab the needle and tighten. What can I do?

It may be that your needle clamp has developed a crack or the threads are stripped inside the needle clamp. Replacing the needle clamp and screw should help.

Replace needle on a Huskylock 905

Look in your owner's manual for needle replacement procedure. You have to unscrew the small screw holding the needle.
Be careful that the new needle is properly seated before screwing it tight. Otherwise, you might end up with it slightly askew.

I broke a needle and tried to replace both needles. Now I can't get my machine to chain. I have rethreaded it, and replaced the needles, closely following the manual and threading guide but still

it's possible that when the needle broke it could have caused the
machine to jump time and would need to be serviced to see if it
needs adjustment.

The needle on my Brother BC-1000 Computerized machine bent while I was sewing a project. What should I do? I can't sew with it. Do I need to find a replacement needle? If so, where? Can I replace the...

You can replace a sewing machine needle on your own. You can purchase needles online or at your local craft/sewing store. They will hopefully have a section there with sewing machines that they will then be able to show you, easily, how to replace the needle, because they're all pretty much the same. You can also check out this YouTube video It goes through the basic steps and should give you what you need in case you're ordering replacement needles online. You can get them at Joann's (do a google search) and just order regular, everyday machine sewing needles-you don't need special ones.

How do you change an embellisher needle

Unlike some other machines, you do not need to replace the entire needle shank when a needle breaks. The Embellisher comes with two alan key screwdrivers for changing needles. Insert the larger screwdriver at the red marking to loosen the entire needle shank. Remove the needle shank from the Embellisher and use the smaller screwdriver to loosen and remove the needle(s) you wish to change. Replace with new needle and tighten into position with small screwdriver. Then simply replace the needle shank with the red marking facing the front (towards you).

My needle broke, and i don't know how to replace it.

There should ba a screw that can be loosened enuf to remove broken needle. Be sure to replace new needle with flat side in the same way as the old one, otherwise thread will keep breaking.
