Gateway nv52 won't charge

It sounds like you either have a dead mother board or a bad power inlet. Did the machine work with the new battery while it was charged? If so, then the battery connector was good and the inlet was bad. If not, your motherboard could be dead. I've also seen where a bad battery connector would syphon off enough power to not power on the machine or charge the battery.

My nc6400 won't power up even when connected to a power adapter. How can I fix this?

Since you already tried another power cord (assuming that it was a working cord and for the exact same model). Then I would say your motherboard is dead.

LEDs on motherboard light up but computer won't start

It still may be dead. Go here and get a PSU tester:

Laptop kept shutting off now won't turn on anymore

Sounds like a power supply problem. Either the internal PSU or the auxiliary power is dead and not providing enough juice to keep your laptop running. If this is happening both with the power cord attached and running straight off the battery, it's most likely the internal PSU.

Green light on. computer wont turn on

Unfortunately, if the light is on, but the computer won't power on, it means one of two things. Either the power cord is broken in some way and no long sufficient to power the computer, OR the motherboard is dead. You can try to purchase a universal cable from Best Buy for instance, and then return it if it doesn't solve your problem. A motherboard repair would be best done through Acer themselves, although, it can cost over $300.

was it plugged in when you tried to turn it on?

if not, try charging it for a couple of hours. the battery must be completely empty

My intel d945gcl motherboard procceser socket's pin broken during fiting procceser ..... i want early solve my problem ...

You don't want this answer but you need a new motherboard. If you've broken pins off the processor socket you won't get it working. They don't sell replacement processor sockets, you have an effectively dead motherboard.

My Acer Aspire one notebook ZG5 won't turn/boot on, help?

1. Dead AC adapter
2. Dead battery
3. Broken AC-socket on laptop, so no power is received, and battery is not charging.
4. Dead ON/OFF switch
5. Dead motherboard

ALIENWARE DESKTOP LOST ALL POWER

In a laptop, you can lose power in three ways.
1. Dead battery 2. Dead Power cord. 3. Bad motherboard.
ther first two should be rather obvious, as the battery won't work or it won't hold a charge, but if it won't turn on at all, even while plugged in, chances are that you're going to need a new motheboard. This can be expensive in the M--x laptops, unfortunately.
Sorry for the bad news, mate.
