NOKIA 6300 FELL IN WATER AND DEAD.CAN IT BE REPAIRED?

Hello,

What to do is this,

Unscrew the phone,
Get a Methylated spirit and a brush,
Bring out the board of the phone and use the methylated spirit to brush off remaining water on phone.
Keep under heat to dry off,
After board is dried, fix it back and screw back phone.

Am sure after doing this phone will work well.
But if phone still doesn't work ,that means water has damage some component inside the phone.
You will need to consult a phone technician for assistance.
Take care.

My motorola zn5 fell in water, now i can turn it on

oh,ok. take it to your nearest cellphone repair shop. there are high chances, it can already be damaged. i would advise you to first open up the phone and let it dry. take it to the repair shop and let the repair guy check what's spoil in the phone's hardware. keep me updated.

My phone fell into a cup of water, i immediately removed it, opened the back, removed the battery, wiped it and dried it for two days but when i packed it back and switch it, the screen didnt come up but...

If water penetrated inside the LCD display , then the display must be replaced. Moreover, the liquid may have shorted some component , and in that case there is more repair job to be done.

All you can do is removing external covers if possible, and drying the phone a little longer If the phone does not come up after one week, then repair or replace it.

Even though the water has dried out the liquid still can damage the software, liquid damage is not covered under warranty

Sent phone back for repair under waranty they said

there is a small circle sticker place in the mainboard on the back of the phones if they are red in color then that means it came in contact with liquid, sweat or water of some kind. so just take the phone to an independent repair store and have it service.

My phone motorola V31 RAZAR got water on the keypad and now the keys are not working. The Sim Card is fine, it is still charging but I cannot type in my Sim. I can only turn the phone on and off.

Hi

Unfortunatly there will be nothing you can do.

Liquid Ingress/water damage is not covered under manufacturers warranty and it is classed as Beyond Economical Repair.

Only thing you can do it explore insurance options

Phone fell in water

Most likely something got corroded inside of the motherboard, shorting out a component or two. Your only solution will be to open it up and clean it with a soft toothbrush or something similar. If that doesn't work, I guess you'd have to replace specific components on the board and that's no easy task...
