Kingston dti/1gb i am having problem with the device the pc report a malfunction unknown device but it works on other computers ?

Hello salman.
this problem occurs as the computer cannot find suitable generic driver for ur usb pendrive.
might be the other computer might have higer version like xp service pack 2.
so plz try installing service pack 2 or search for driver on net.and install the driver for ur pendrive by selecting it as u connect ur pendrive to comuter.

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working
ports(com&lpt)right click update driver

My DTI/2GB wont give any light and not picked up by my pc but another same USB works

The DTIU is a USB 2.0 device. Are you 'plugging into a USB 2.0 port? I realize that sounds like a dumb question, so I apologize if you found it insulting. Other than that, the only other problem is with Windows Vista. If your running Vista go to the Kingston site for an update to the Device driver.

your USB Flash Disk is damage already, you need to be repaired your Flash Disk to read again in your PC.

Have you tried finding the drivers for the USB Flash Drive?

Sometimes XP may need a compatibility drivers.

the connector of you usb port of your unit kinston is need to re_soldering by using a soldering iron.or need to re-heat by hot-air unit.

Problem with kingston DTI/4GB

Help me please!!!When I insert my 2GB kingston USB into my computer I go to "My Computer" then I go open it but it say "Choose a program to open the file"!!!What should I DO???Please help......Usually I can open it one but now suddenly cannot(I don't have the program that can be used to open the USB)
