It will separate into an oil layer and a water layer when you thaw (melt) it. It will not taste the same and it will be very runny.

My sour cream got frozen can I still eat it


It will be difficult to eat it in a frozen state. However, if you place it in the refrigerator for 24 hours it will likely thaw out. If you then find its taste and consistency to your liking there is no reason why it cannot be consumed. Most people would tend to throw it out, as it loses some of its consistency.

Can you freeze cheese


Yes and no.
Pick a cream cheese that is medium to high in fat and you can freeze it. It will alter the texture slightly but the taste remains the same. When thawed the cheese will be more crumbly than creamy, but still ok for eating as is, or even better for casseroles and dips etc.
Pick a cream cheese that is high in fatjjj Low and non-fat cream cheeses will not freeze very well.
Although it's completely possible to freeze cream cheese, it does alter the texture. Thawed cream cheese is less creamy and a lot more crumbly than fresh cream cheese. Because of this, it's best to use frozen cream cheese in casseroles, baked dishes and dips.
Pick a cream cheese that has a higher fat content. Low and non-fat cream cheeses don't freeze as well

No, it will separate into an oily layer and watery layer when it is melted. It will be very runny and not taste or feel the same.

Ice cream has ice crystals in it


Ice crystals are more prevalent in homemade ice cream because it takes longer to freeze the mix. When you can flash-freeze the ice cream to very low temperatures very quickly, there is less time for the molecules to melt and refreeze, which causes crystal formation.

Here are some of the useful tips:
1.) When the ice cream is done, transfer to the coldest part of the freezer as quickly as possible
2.) Pre-freeze the ice cream bowl before using, and pre-freeze the storage container before putting the ice cream in it and into the freezer
3.) Make sure the mix is very cold before using the machine. Maybe put the mix in the freezer for 15 minutes before starting the machine, so that it will finish faster
