SOURCE: Speakers Cutting Out

I posted this solution on FixYa to help someone who had the same problem, or at least a similar problem. If you remove the slotted panel underneath the bottom of the receiver, you can gain access to the underside of the main circuit board. There are 3 relay units there, they are blue boxes that can be seen if you shine a torch down through the top. I found the solder joints on these relays looked as though they had broken away from the board, there appeared to be a dark ring around the pin of the relay. I re-soldered 4 of these connections, and, so far, that seems to have done the trick. Time will tell. These relay units connect and disconnect the speakers. There is one other relay that is mounted on a seperate board above the main board, that I can't access easily. If this one is also faulty, I will be un-able to fix it, as it would involve removing the entire guts of the receiver. If any of your technical team disagree with my remedy, or can offer any other solution, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think you should buy a video sender. It will take audio from your audio console and send wireless to a free channel to any free TV channel. No cables!

Here's one on ebay:

When wiring around circuit board cracks, one must use adequate sized wires and keep the leads short. Also you MAY have a microscopic crack in yet another conductor that flexes when you play the keyboard and freezes it. Use a high intensity LED light from the topside to "candle" the board and look for cracks. Look for cracking of the board material that may have tiny cracks in the circuit traces.

If those green wires have eye connectors on their ends, that indicates chassis grounds and should be put under one of the mounting screws on the board. you should be able to get a diagram from Behringer's website.

TROUBLE REPLACING OEM TIMER - UNIVERSAL ELECTRONIC FAN TIMER

Hi, you should be real close with the universal timer and the factory OEM. On the new control board, if you have 24 volts to the board, you should have 24 volts from R to ground or to Common. I know that on most all control boards the voltage in is 120volts as you will have terminals for L-1 and L-2 to run the high voltage controls from the board and all of the thermostat control terminals in a row, R,G,Y, W, C, and so on are 24 volts. 120 volts is stepped down to 24volts control and you say you have nothing out. Make sure you have 120volts in. You are calling this a timer board, is this a heat-pump defrost board with the 3 settings and pin to defrost the unit at 30,60,and 90 minute times? This is what it sounds like. If all was terminated per diagram, you would have the 24 volts required to fire this unit. These defrost timer boards require high voltage to them as well. Even though the board is a new board and you know for a fact that it is wired properly, it may be a defective board. I have seen this many times in my years as a tech. I have shorted new boards out by static electricity and by mis- wiring one. You can kill power and look at the back side of the board to see if this has happened. Sometimes you will find that they missed a solder point on the back side not completing a circuit through the board. To give you more ideas, I would need to see the diagram, or if you could send me the model, serial, and name of your unit. The board number would help also. Check out what I have said and get back to me on this. I will wait to hear.

How do I remove the keys from a Roland KR 4700 piano? We can't figure it out. Please help! I can't afford to get a repairman. I need to replace the contact strip. It's happened before.

If these are semi weighted keys here is a cut and paste from a manual:
19. Disassembling the Keyboard Assembly
* After inserting a round stick (Rod: TX000670)
between the frame and the keys, remove the
circuit boards. (Fig. 23)
19-1 GHD EBUS L, MK SUB Circuit Board
(Time required: about 12 minutes)
Remove the seven (7) screws marked [260A]. The
GHD EBUS L and MK SUB circuit boards can then
be removed. (Fig. 24, Photo 5)
19-2 GHD M Circuit Board
(Time required: about 12 minutes)
Remove the five (5) screws marked [260B] and the
screw marked [262]. The GHD M circuit board can
then be removed. (Fig. 24)
19-3 GHD H Circuit Board
(Time required: about 12 minutes)
Remove the four (4) screws marked [260C] and the
screw marked [262]. The GHD H circuit board can
then be removed. (Fig. 24)
* Keys can be removed without removing the
circuit boards.
* After removing the GHD EBUS L, GHD M and
GHD H circuit boards, and the rubber contacts
can then be removed.
19-4 Rubber contact
Remove the GHD circuit board for the involved key.
The rubber contacts can then be removed.

The rod is inserted above the weighted hammer and the bottom of the keys from one end. It appears to be about 1/4 inch diameter dowel and will run the full length of the keyboard. You might use 3 foot ones from each end.

Screws are removed and the boards removed without taking the individual keys out.

The connector for the power on the circuit board has broken the solder connections OR cracked the board in the area.

Resolder the connector and if you see cracks that are breaking circuit traces on the board, one bridges around them with wires to repair.

You likely only have to resolder the connector in your case.

First. the +/positive/hot wires go to the respective/separate +positive/hot side battery terminals.. and the -/negative/ground wire go to their respective/separate -/negative/ground battery terminals.
The wires from the charger are "paired out".. meaning the + and - pair must go to the same battery. .. you can't mix and match.
