sounds like you may have a phasing problem with the 4 speakers connected in series. This has the effect of cancelling the bass out. Check that you have them all wired as say "stripe" to negative terminal on the speaker. I use this as a rule of thumb to be sure there are never any phasing problems. they all(speaker boxes) need to be facing the same way for bass to propagate well. Check that you have bridging OFF and all settings to "stereo" SAny other settings you are not sure on, just ask me here :)

Hello pare ko.
EP2500 is a pro amp, manufacturer says that. Notorious to me.
Got 5 of these for repair. Clip is of course cause by too much
signal from source. If the amp is still clipped or on protect even w/out
signal in, time to open and do repairs inside. usually a MOSFET
inside P50N06 (50V-60A) is kaput. or MJE15033G and MJE15032G.
Now if blowing main Fuse, main txistor 2SA1943/2SC5200 maybe gone.
Read carefully the setting of your dip switches setting at the back.
This amp can drive 750 watts/ch@4 ohms.
Good Luck From Siliconchip

There are so many components that can fail that troubleshooting this can be an expensive problem.
HINT: Put a 150 Watt light bulb in series with the power going into to limit current for/during troubleshooting.
Go through and compare the voltages on the teo channels. If power amp transistors have failed, likely the driver transistors also are gone.
Testing components in-circuit is very dificult. Resistors are pretty reliable and usually show damage by discoloration.
Furhter use before repairing MAY cause further damage.

Testimonial: "This is just about the most thorough solution I really needed. Which does make my project to fix this amp worth it. Thanks I will try what you say. Thank you."
There is a possible noise build up on your CH2 due to failure or weakness of the LCR network of the preamp circuit. It could also be a noise within any semiconducctor or the preamp IC. Unless you can do a signal test with the elimination of the input to the output amplifier, the fault will not be say to isolate. Hence if youarre familiar do the test by approching from the output amplifier's input, proceeding to the main input where the faulty section can be identified. Hope this helps. Good day
