just keep heating it, if it is frozen underground heating will be the only way once unfrozen let one tap drip a bit to stop it from freezing again

What does it mean if the psi drops 5 to 10 psi on the pool filter

Restriction before pump impeller or clogged impeller. Check:
Dirty skimmer basket, not enough water in pool, stuck weir gate in up position, plugged pipe coming into pump, if in ground pool, then yes,the pipe underground. It is not a restriction after the pump like dirty filter. If it was, pressure will rise!

How do i eliminate moisture from an underground, natural gas galvanized gas line. I have no gas flow to my garage or my 75k garage heater.

Check on the local codes governing gas piping, but it would be my suggestion to consider abandoning the existing line IF you are sure there is a compromise to its integrity allowing water to enter. I would think if water ENTERS...then GAS has to be able to excape. It'd be a lot of condensation that's required to either just block the line or freeze and block the line. If it freezes due to lack of depth, it's going to rupture anyway sooner or later necessitating replacement.

At the above ground location before where it goes subterranean, (after checking the codes), consider installing the appropriate brass fittings to then allow a new underground copper line to be installed by attaching by means of an iron pipe to flare adapter in the appropriate size. Then utilize type L soft roll copper to lay in the new trench to the garage and tie it into the existing line inside the wall. Type L is the thick walled soft tubing and can be used in many locations for gas, whereas Type M soft copper tubing is thin walled tubing for use with water and not gases. Your area may not allow it. That's what building inspectors are for.

Before proceeding, MAKE SURE your line is in fact the problem then double check with a local authority whether or not copper materials are recommended along with brass fittings for the connections. IF the original and suspected problematic gas line is for sure GALVANIZED it is not in any way approved for use with natural gas. It is probably black iron pipe.

How does a home well water system work?

Deep well.
Pressure valve located on front of above-ground-storage-tank will turn pump on-off depending on amount of water pressure inside tank.
When water is consumed inside home, the pressure valve responds to the lower pressure and closes electrical contacts... sending electricity to water well pump located deep underground.
The pump turns on and lifts water through a pipe into the above ground storage tank.
When the tank is full of water, the pressure valve senses the higher pressure and turns off electricity going to pump
Pump shuts off.
There is a one-way check valve on the water line going down to pump, and this keeps water from flowing back down into well.
The above ground tank maintains water pressure for the house.
When pressure is reduced by taking a shower, the pressure valve turns pump on again, and cycle repeats.

I have williams floor heater model#4505622 which was installed April, 2010. It was working in Nov, but there was heavy rain that month. One day in Dec, 2010, it stopped working. The pilot is off. I called...

Your final question is an excellent one!
YES!-- they SHOULD BE!-- Are they truly, tho?- I doubt it!
and unless the power feed, and the thermostat connections come in from above the floor line, there invariably will be ways for water to get into this box!
So-- Can you shine a light down thru the floor grating, and can you see signs of water having gotten into the equipment?-- Can you remove the grate, and check it out closely?
Let us now what you find-

How do you prime a sta-rite mse-6 deep well pump?

Take the pressure guage off and pour water in the hole untill it fills the pump, then screw the guage back on and cranck it up. You may have to do this a few times depending on how deep in the grownd the water is.

My house's underground drain pipe froze. It's been that way for 2 days now. It's plastic tubing, and we tried putting warm water and everything, but it wouldn't defrost. I live in Toronto and it's about 0-...

i would suggest calling a plumber as they have special tools they can use to defrost it. i would also suggest in warmer weather that you have the pipe dug up and buried lower in the ground to prevent it from freezing again

My circuit breaker feeding the pool light trips every time I try and turn the pool light on.

Is the amperage in the circuit breaker above the rating for the power requirements for the pool lights? If so, is it double tapped and feeding something else at the same time? If not, I would guess a short in your wiring. Usually, the wire travels from the breakerbox underground through piping. If you had it installed a while ago, they probably used emt ( metal piping). That stuff falls apart underground and probably nicked some wires causing the short.
