Question about Televison & Video
Hi, I want you to first unplug your TV and unplug the cable box (if you have one) and unhook the cable from the TV, wait 2 minutes. Starting with the cable going into the TV, rehook that first. Then restart your cable box (if applicable), then plug the TV power back in. Check the "Tuner Mode" control for the correct setting. Next, run the "Auto Program" feature to find all available channels, this can take up to 10 minutes. Once done with auto-program, press the AV button on the remote control and make sure the correct signal source is selected (Should correspond exactly with source where you hooked in the cable to the TV). If you are running in PC mode, the video signal must be present or the TV will turn off. If this does not fix the problem, please respond with the name of the cable/sat provider you are using as well as if you have other TVs available for other checks, are all cables free of breaks in the cable as well as all end fittings in order. and lastly if no cable box, is the cable directly coming from the wall to the tv.
