SOURCE: vertex 7500 not generate energy

Have you let it set for a long period? I have heard that if you do not use a generator that it will simply stop working(generator portion itself). Make sure no breakers are tripped and the wiring looks OK.

SOURCE: PM0557523 7500 WATT Vertex Coleman missing

There are at least two AVRs for this generator. The original AVR has the diodes mounted on an external heat sink. The updated AVR has the diodes mounted directly on the circuit board. I have a schematic of the original model with the external diodes but it doesn't have the values or parts on the schematic. I will be more than happy to e-mail you a copy of what I have.

My coleman vertex 7500 will not suck gas from the tank, have plenty of spark. Will run if I pour gas into carb.

Check to see if you get good gas flow from tank to carb. It could be a dirty fuel filter, if it has one. Another possibility is something plugging the gas line. If you have flow to the carb, the float and flat valve may be stuck closed. Often this can be cured temporairly by tapping on the body of the carb.

How do i flash charge my 7500 watt generator

Remove the end case on the generator end, locate the brushes and also the wires going to the brushes. Crank the engine while measuring the voltage on the brushes, note which lead is B+. Disconnect the brush wires and isolate. To flash the rotor you will need a battery wires with an in line fuse, connect the wires noting B+ to the right brush where you measured earlier (polarity is critical) then toucj on the battery for approx 3 - 5 seconds, this will rebuild the field in the rotor. Disconenct and re-assemble brush wires. When you start generator do not add any load for a while, until the rotor field has chance to re-saturate
