My pandigital scanner is missing the SD card. I bought a new SD card by SanDisk. It is a 16gb and does not work with the scanner. Is there only a certain type that works with the scanner?

Well, there are different types of SD sizes.

If you believe you've got the right size and you have only one slot for SD, as if you have different types they might interfere with each other and things could get saved only on the one that is dominant, then you should check your model's manual and which SD cards it supports. My other suggestion is that you try the card on something else if everything else seems in check and see if you didn't get a faulty card.

I did find this manual and it seems like SanDisk isn't in the list, but for your model it could be different.
Good luck!

I installed Scan2Mac n my iMac. Mac recognizes Scanner and I can read SD card. When I select Scan to Mac - and scan - it saves to SD card and not Mac. I reinstalled and same thing happens

Are you running OSX Lion? If so, that may be the issue.
I have 2 MacBook Pros, one running Lion, one Snow Leopard.
The Scan2Mac software works fine on the Snow Leopard machine - takes only a few seconds to create image in a MBP directory.
It does not work at all on the Lion machine. Worse, the scans to the memory card take up to 2 minutes, before the scanner will process another photo.
I installed the Scan2Mac app on both machines from the same dmg.
The Pandigital website offers no updates to the software, which was created in 2009.

How do you scan directly to PC using the USB cable? Can't seem to get it to work other than to memory card.

The PC needs to have the control software installed, go to Pandigital and get their install program. Follow install directions exactly, often NOT plug and play or no go...

If you go to and click on all personal photo scanners/converters, you'll see a picture of your scanner. Click on it. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and there'll be options including downloads. Click on downloads and you'll have to know your product specifications to get the right one, but the manuals are all there, in all languages, so make sure you get English. Hope this helps a little.

Pandigital mini photo scanner pictures have white lines on them

have a pandigital scanner that worked great for about 500 pics then lines stared to show up, tried cleaning and calibrating but did not help, decided to take apart and found that the glass on the surface of the scan part was dirty, cleaned the glass and put back together works perfect, took about 10 minutes to fix
