Question about IBM Computers & Internet
I have a Lenovo T60 laptop, and the Ethernet ports have stopped working. I have reinstalled and updated the drivers, upgraded the BIOS, and wiped the machine and reloaded Windows XP on it. It isn't a hardware problem, and there is nothing wrong with the network or ethernet cables. Wireless still works.
Isn't there just one ethernet port on that machine? the wireless device is an entirely separate piece of hardware. http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/pccbbs/mobiles_pdf/42t8137_02.pdf
click on that link and it'll take you to the hardware maintenance manual for your machine. download it. thats the book IBM's technicians use to fix machines in the field.
thats a link to the setup guide for your lappie
thats a link to the troubleshooting guide .. i'm sure you'll find more than enough info to make you happy ethernet enabled lappie user in them
