Question about GE Cooktops
:inition on burner will not shut off
When you push the knob does it stay down? This problem is usually one of twwo things. Either the spring underneath is not strong enough or the shaft is dry. Sometimes a spray of WD40 can help. Pull off the knob and spray the shaft. Sorry I am partially guessing because I have no idea which top you are using. Hope this helps.
