Question about Gateway P-173X FX Edition Notebook PC - Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2GHz, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g Wireless
I plugged a Targus usb hub into my laptop (Im running Vista) and now it is continually trying to find an install a driver for it. It doesn't need a driver - but my system keeps searcing for one.
Might be a good idea to try picking up a driver anyways. Any kind of USB device whether it be a printer, a flash drive, or a USB hub requires a driver for communicating with the device. I'd suggest taking a look on Targus' website and downloading drivers specifically for your model of hub, for your OS. You might be pleasantly surprised.
