This problem is caused by improperly adjusted derailers/shifters, the mechanism that move the chain from one gear to the next. It is not uncommon for the derailers to be out of adjustment after sitting unused through the winter. Over time the cables that run between the shifters and the derailers stretch just a bit and the derailers no longer work as well without a little tuning up. Unfortunately, for the novice, adjusting the derailers is frustrating at best. The effort and patience it requires is nothing to take lightly. If you're game for giving it a try, there are a number of websites out there that will provide extensive guidance on the process - just "google" how to adjust bike derailers" and you will find plenty of options. My local bike shop will make adjustments like this for a small set price, around $20 or so - you may have a shop nearby that will do the same.

Hope this helps.

What exactly are you needing instructions for? Most bikes are just static frames with a bunch of aftermarket (Shimano, for example) stuff hung on them.

Except for proprietary frames or technologies, everything on a common bike is found on just about any other brand of bike and the individual components are usually documented at the individual manufacturers' websites.

Places like http://www.parktool.com/blog/repair-help document many of the repair and adjustment procedures.

Search Engines will find tons of How-to videos for assembly and adjustment if you just type in the basic question.

Any of the major cheapo bike manufacturers will have a basic or comprehensive generic manual. No one makes manuals for individual models unless they are unique.

Hi I recently bought a used roadmaster mt sport sx bike and the rear gear that's attached to the wheel is moves like in circles... is that supposed to happen... if not how can I fix it?

Lots of things on a bike move in circles. If you mean it moves when you pedal but does not "catch," so the bike does not move forward then that is a problem with the rear gear cluster. You need to have a mechanic look at it. If that's not what you mean you need to get help in providing a more clear explanation.

The only thing I can recommend is go to Walmart, ask them. Or look for a Roadmaster on their shelves, look for a website in the booklet hanging on thebike

What wrench or crows foot and extensions do I use to remove the high pressure power steering hose attached to the rack and pinion? 1994 Buick Regal 3100cc engine

Wherever you can, you should use a tubing wrench, whether it is a crow's foot tubing wrench, or just a normal style wrench with a tubing wrench end.

Those fittings are tight, an you have no options left if you damage the fitting.

As far as what to use, it is always a game of Legos as you try to gain sufficient access with enough oomph to do the job. Use open en wrenches to find what the size is, then use what you learn from that to get the same sized tubing wrench.

If you are removing the hose, and you do not intend to use it again, it can really make things easier to cut the metal line close, then use a socket...
