On a bike???! On a bike to service the bearings
at the crank (peddles) remove chain
rrmove peddles then there will be a lock
nut at base of peddle crank remove it
then slide the whole crank out of the
opposite side an there you go you will
have you bearings in plan view if bearings
are busted replace if they are good
clean an repack with grease an reassemble
If it is the peddle that is threaded and not the crank then all you need to do is replace the peddle. Take the peddle off and look at the thread both on the peddle and inside the crank. Any bike shop can look at this for you and can order you in a set of new peddles or, if the crank is to blame you can order these easy enough online.
