Question about Medion Computers & Internet

Open Question

Mystery connections. Connection for the Medion MT5 Medion U - Model. I have the board pretty much completed but there are a couple of connections I cannot find that came as part of the computer. Weird too I looked at the Medion MT5 mobo and one of the connection isn't on that board at all, but it is on mine. The other connection is a green 4 pin (female) connection that I don't see on this mainboard at all. That connection is coming from under the drive(s) tray.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Asus M4A785-M Board Connections

Best thing is to get the manual.

Go to:

Enter your MB model number in the Search box in the upper left and click Search Info.

You will then get a link on the right to verify the model number. Click it.

You will then get a pop-up to select your operating system.

The possible downloads will be listed with the Manual links at the bottom. Select a download server. (I use Global most times.) Then you will get a Captcha verification. Enter the letters. You will then get a window to Open or Save. Your choice. It is in zip format and when opened is a pdf file.

The connections on the MB begin on Page 1-23.

Thanks for using Fixya.

My medion pc mt5 has no msn number so i cant find what video drivers i need to install

I think the MSI PC-MT5 has an nVidea geForce4 MX 420 GPU, i know since I have the board of one in my current rig that the board I got from a PC-MT5 has a geForce4 MX 420SE, same card essentially, you can get drivers from nVidea from here:
this scanner is provided by nVidea, I also recommend you get the geForce experience too as it may hepl you get the best from the card :), before you do install the driver, carefully remove the GPU and read the PCB, the name should be somewhere in the top right near the VRAM on the card, if you cannot see it, the GPU will have info printed on the chip itserlf, carefully remove the clips and take the heatsink off, clear the thermal compound off with a rag and isopropyl rubbing alcogol and take a look, remember to put fresh thermal compound on it, I recommend either ICDiamond, Spire, Biostar, Antec or Arctic Silver, it's easily available from hardware shops and ebay:
