SOURCE: Too little coffee

1080p60 is a genius!
he is correct. the owner's manual gives you the impression that it is a three step process: 1) turn machine off. 2) push large coffee cup icon. 3) turn machine back on. BUT it does not make it clear that after turning the machine off, you must hold the coffee cup icon down WHILE turning the machine on. solved the problem perfectly. thank you 1080p60!

SOURCE: nespresso essenza problem

It's not supposed to make holes in the capsule until the water comes through. So, basically, when you put the capsule in, it pierces the capsule in three spots, on the top. The aluminum part will not pierce until you press the button and water comes through. If water is not coming through, then you can clear the air bubble by opening the lever on top of the machine, pressing the coffee button, and then closing the lever once the water begins to come through.

SOURCE: nespresso essenza en90,o

I opened up my krups nespresso xn 2105 essenza C100N machine today. It was not starting up quick enough, so silly me decided to dunk it in hot water. My nespresso is an automatic, it has the on/off switch down in the back. My guess is the water that went in there is what is killing the house fuse now. So I really needed to open it up. Not knowing how to proceed, I looked at fixya first, No details yet. So here is what I did.
I looked at the screws, (post on fixya suggested they are screws) at the bottom. There is 6 of them. They look like rivets as if they have been made into round blobs after putting them in. So I took a dremel-like small grinder (a really small drill would do better) and made two small notches on the side of each one. Be careful not to chip away too much plastic of the machine ;) Then I used very small and long pliers to get them turning. That is actually easy, they are lightly set in plastic. Hard part is to keep the pliers from sliding off. Actually once loose the most of the turning I did using a narrow rubber tube, I guess you could use the rubber on the back of a pencil as well. So, remove 6 bottom screws, actually you can remove the sides now. This gives you access to the area where you can see all the wiring and many of the parts. For me I needed access at the bottom, so I removed two more screws near the bottom, and removed the bottom plate. The on/off switch for the automatic sits down the back of the machine, there is one additional screw (six pointed star shape) in the internals for this. I did pull off the switchy bit of the switch - do not do this as springs andcontacts fall out... Mine also still has water in there so I guess I found my problem.
Well, thet is how to dissassemble. I will have to find out how to reassemble tonight, to be able to get my wife het coffee in the morning ;)

SOURCE: water not coming through nozzle of nespresso essenza

I have had this issue. I have removed round silver plastic piece from around coffee spout,(gently -do not crack it) I then removed and washed the black spout, I even used a toothpick once, to remove the stubborn coffee ground, Once it was cleaned - it worked perfect. If you run water from the faucet into spout it should flow smoothly. I warn you though, not sure what this does to any warranty, but don't mess with my morning coffee! I hope this helps.

Lights blinking

A longer description will help people debug your problem. I had the problem that the lights on my essenza machine would blink fast and not stop blinking. Pressing the button would pour out luke warm water without any consideration for the fill level of the cup. Turns out that machine was in Descaling mode. See section 7 of the manual. To get out back to normal mode, hold down both the buttons for 3 secs.

Nespresso Essenza D100 leaking water while brewing

Sounds like a gasket or seal gone or a split pipe.

If it's still under warranty - take it back for free service or replacement.

If you do have to attempt DIY, then a clear silicone sealant may save you the price of expensive gaskets.
Be very careful when taking apart - take notes or photos as it will help put it back together !
I usually put related sub-assemblies together with their screws in separate pots.

Our Nespresso Essenza C100 machine doesn't let the water out, but it pours it inside itself. What could be the problem?

When you make several servings of espresso consecutively, the pressure develops inside the brew basket. , be sure to relieve the build-up pressure before you remove the brew basket by turning the unit to "Froth" mode and allowing the steam to exit.

Light don't stop blinking .... Nespresso Essenza C100

My guess is that the Essenza is in 'Descaling' state. See section 7 of the essenza manual. To get out of it, hold both the buttons down for 3 secs. The lights will then blink at normal rate for a bit and then turn solid.
