SOURCE: Panasonic DMR-XW350 Network enabling firmware Upgrade.

The web page seems to have a problem in its Javascript that jumps to the page for each location.

You can get around the problem by editing the support page URL, just replace index.html at the end of the URL with one of the options:

For example for New Zealand, change the index.html to nz.html: so the following

http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dvd/download/xw350/index.html

is changed to:

http://panasonic.jp/support/global/cs/dvd/download/xw350/nz.html

The options in the Javascript are listed as follows:
<option value="au.html">Australia</option>
<option value="nz.html">New Zealand</option>
<option value="uk.html">UK</option>
<option value="fr.html">France</option>

SOURCE: TH-42PX25U cable card problem. Missing numerous HD & SD channels

Check your signal levels from the cable company. Sounds like they're low or marginal. You may need an amplifier, if so make sure it's a bi-directional (2-way) amp. Surprised the techs that came to the house didn't check this. It's a commonm problem.

Seems to be a common problem for these cameras even without doing firmware upgrade. The finnish importer Kaukomarkkinat Oy will not acknowledge it and will only sell new ones to customers complaining about this.

Can't see the folders after restarting SS400-e

If you check their website, you will find:
Upgrading from a previous version of the firmware (to version 1.4) is a “data destructive” process.
it is strongly recommended that you first backup your existing data to another system in your environment. It is also recommended that you understand your current configuration of users, groups and shares to be able to recreate this under the 1.4 firmware.

How to upgrade the firmware on a BEFW11S4

Firmware upgrades may erase all previous settings to your router's configuration. Before upgrading your firmware, make sure to record your settings. 1. Unplug and disconnect all computers from the router except for one. This computer must be plugged into the router directly. There can be no other network activity (wired and wireless) on the router during the upgrade, so be sure to power off all other computers. 2. Go to http://www.linksys.com/download 3. Select the model number of the Linksys router you have. Make sure to select the correct router version as well, as firmware upgrades frequently vary by version. You can find your router version underneath your router after the model number. For example, ?BEFW11S4 ver. 2?. 4. Click the Downloads for this Product button. 5. Once you arrive on the download page, click the Firmware button. 6. After the firmware page opens, click the link that says ?Click here to download the latest firmware...? and download the firmware file to your computer. 7. Once you download the firmware Zip file, unzip it. If you do not have an unzipping program, go to http://www.winzip.com and download WinZip, which will allow you to unzip the file. 8. After unzipping the firmware files, one of them will be called TFTP.EXE. Double click on it. 9. When the ?Upgrade Firmware? window opens, you will have three prompts. The ?Server? field is for the IP address of your router; by default this would be 192.168.1.1. 10. Enter the routers password into the ?Password? field; by default the password is admin. 11. Browse for the file in the Firmware Upgrade utility program by clicking on the button next to file with the '?' symbol on it. Look for the file named 'code.bin' in the folder where the firmware files were extracted to. 12. Highlight the code.bin file and click on the Open button to direct the TFTP loader program to put that file into the "File" box. 13. The full path should be displayed [example: c:\linksys\code.bin]. 14. Click on the Upgrade button to begin the upgrade process. 15. The upgrade should take about 1 minute, and you will be prompted after the upgrade is complete and successful. If you are still having troubles, contact Linksys Technical Support.

Getting The WRE54G To Connect With The WRT54G

The WRT54G, WRT54GS, and WAP54G all must have the latest firmware versions available installed in order to connect with the WRE54G Wireless-G Range Expander. Here are the minimum firmware version requirements that you must meet: * WRT54G (all versions): at least firmware version 2.02.2 * WRT54GS: at least firmware version 2.07.1 * WAP54G (all versions) : at least firmware version 2.07 To Identify your WAP54G Version Number: To find out which version of the WAP54G you currently have, flip your Access Point over to look at its underside. Near the serial number label, near the Linksys© logo, you will see your model number and a possible version. Labels for the WAP54G version will look like one of the following: * WAP54G (no version means Version 1) * WAP54G ver. 1.1 * WAP54G v. 2 For WAP54G Version 1 and Version 1.1 Users ONLY: (if you have a WAP54G Version 2, you may proceed with the 2.07 or later firmware upgrade) NOTE: Before upgrading the WAP54G Version 1 and Version 1.1 models to firmware version 2.07 or later, make sure your Access Point?s current firmware is version 1.09.1 beforehand. The version 1.09.1 code performs an important OS upgrade for these versions of the Access Point -- it must be loaded before using later firmware.
