Not worked on this model but they are all similar.
You may have a fault on another board which is shutting down the power board. Usually dried up or blown capacitors

If there are no buttons buy a universal remote. Buy GE as they are the best and cheap in price. Sold at Wal-Mart or Dollar General.

Step 1: Check all connections re-do the connections if need be and hook it back up

Step: 2 Remove power from the TV unit and plug it back in

Step 3: check the TV input make sure you are on the right input for the TV

have fitted a new aerial as tv was connected to sky and now cant get any freeview channels keeps saying no signal what am i doing wrong

Select the DVD and type 9 7 3 5. This brings up a new menu. Select Region 0. OK.

help me to set up the menu bar to be on the bottom and not at the middle

try pressing 9 7 3 5 when on the dvd source and no disk in.
this will get you to the region menu and can then scroll to the region option and then scroll to what region you want or to 0 for region free. then hit enter on the control scroll to exit and hit enter again
