Dryer doesn't heat and runs constantly
depending on the model; if the timer is in the automatic cycle it will not advance if there is no heat, it must heat in order to satisfy a thermostat to tell the timer to advance this is what makes it automatic. If the timer gets to the end of the timed cycle and will not advance to off, sounds like a bad resistor connected to the timer, I would first check the heat circuit to find out why its not heating. Dont mean to complicate, but everything in the dryer has something to do with heating, element,thermostats, temp switch, timer and even the motor. Check for burnt wires at the terminal block for the cord. hope this helps.....
