Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be
able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part
inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty,
this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost
will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned
that the cost could be considerably higher. You should call the
manufacturer for your full range of options.

SOURCE: Sanyo DP5747 Plasma TV no power
Found 1 of the 2 ac supply ( 8amp) fuses blown on the main pwr. supply. Replaced fuse and good so far. Looked over the ps for damaged components, none found. Checked current with ampmeter with tv on, showing 3amps. Cheers

I just bought a Sanyo DP50747 50 inch plasma. When I pause the tv, then push play (even 1 minute or less) the sound does not start as soon as the picture starts back. I have picture first and no sound for 4 or 5 seconds then the sound continues from that point.

Take the tv aparts,check the tv power supply board carefully for dying and soon to be dead capacitors parts components.That the board where the tv power a/c cord plug into it.These capacitors parts are dying and soon to be dead alway bulges up or puffing up on to it tops.You have all the tools and know basic electronic?Yes.These capacitors parts components must be change to fixed the tv power supply board problems,well solved those clicking noises and power up the tv.Or try website like Ebay.com look for and find out the make and model of ur tv and buy a whole new refurbish tv power supply board for the replacement.

This tv problems are related to powering up the tv and sustancening the tv power source to the tv itself.Replaced the tv sub power supply board where the a/c power cord plug into it.Try website like Ebay.com to buy a whole new refurbish sub power supply board for the replacement.
