Question about Acer Aspire Z3771-UR20P - P G630 2.7 GHz - 21.5 TFT DO.SL2AA.001 -
Win7. Multi touch all in one PC. Startup is fine, but then after log in as user, white screen appear and nothing on screen but white. When press Ctrl plus Alt plus Delete, screen is normal, but if choose Task Manager or any other choice, white screen appear. Sound seems to be fine during white screen.
Try reverting to vga mode
tap f8 a couple of times after bios shows, then select vga mode in the list
if that works then you can change to a different resolution in display

check your removable media disk drives and make sure that you don't have like a jump drive or CD-Rom that the computer doesn't like. If that doesn't work, enter the BIOS setup (usually F2, F12, ESC or something like that....check the bottom of the screen.) and find the Boot Order settings & move hard drive to #1

goto Control Panel --> User accounts there u can see " Change the way users log on or off " . .. Click that and then u can see two options , check( Select ) both options and then restart your computer .. your problem will be solved.

When you boot the machine in safe mode, it lists a whole load of drivers its loading. What is the last file it gets to before it reboots?

Hook a spare monitor to the computer to make sure the video graphics board is okay, assuming everything checked out, next the video cable from the computer to the Acer monitor, if it will detach from both ends, sub another video cable. Finally if it comes down to the Acer Monitor, the video is processed on the main board that is attached behind the LCD screen that is displayed making repairs far to expensive, much cheaper to replace.
