White screen only, can hear sound

Screen only shows white. i can hear sound

    Same here. White screen but still has sound when plugged into coax, no picture or sound when plugged into AV inputs, picture but no sound when I use the component inputs. What gives?

You haven't given the exact model number ot your LG DVD, so I can only give you a general solution to this problem.
Get into its meny, surf through, come to SYSTEM adjust window, change the system. If a NTSC system recorded disc played with PAL system adjustment with DVD, there will be only black/white pciture, and vice versa.
Adjust it to the color system thathave been adopted your country. this must solve the problem. OK.

Television was playing and all at once the white screen appear.


If you still have warranty I would run not walk to the service center. This could be a very costly out of pocket repair.

is the white line in the middle of the screen going left to right, if thats the case then sounds like a frame collapse, get it checked by an engineer
